The Senior Human Resources Executive is responsible for supporting daily HR activities including recruitment, compensation, and training. This role aims to deliver HR services that align with employee needs and regulatory compliance to support business objectives.
The Senior Human Resources Executive assists in carrying out the daily activities of the Human Resource Office including recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. This role supports delivering HR services that meet or exceed employee needs and help drive business success while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.
High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in human resources, management operations, or a related professional area, OR a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related major with no work experience required.
Ability to assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes.
Skill in maintaining contact with external recruitment sources and networking with local organizations to source candidates.
Capacity to assist in administering and educating employee benefits and handling unemployment claims and hearings.
Experience or ability to assist in employee development including orientation and training programs.
Competence in maintaining employee relations and effective communication channels.
Knowledge of maintaining legal and compliance practices related to employee files, drug testing, safety and security policies, and workers compensation claims.
Supportive of open communication and employee problem resolution.
Familiarity with documentation accuracy, progressive discipline, and performance expectations.
