Job Description
The role involves providing technical support to the Lead Engineer Mooring, performing engineering calculations and analyses, and preparing drawings and specifications for project execution. Responsibilities include developing engineering deliverables for Mooring and Hydrodynamics Systems, ensuring the design and operation of floating offshore facilities are safe, robust, and cost-effective. The candidate will also create design philosophies and specifications for mooring engineering sub-contracting services, adhering to project schedules and planning.
Job Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, marine or related discipline) - Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in mooring and hydrodynamics system design - At least 4 years of experience in design and engineering for New Build Hull and conversion of oil tankers - Proficient in analysis software such as Orcaflex, Hydrostar, and AQWA - Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling
