
The Senior Mooring & Hydrodynamic is responsible for providing technical support in the design and analysis of mooring and hydrodynamic systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, robustness, and cost-effectiveness of floating offshore facilities.
In this role, you will engage in daily engineering calculations, analyses, and the preparation of drawings and specifications for project execution. You will collaborate closely with the Lead Engineer Mooring to develop engineering deliverables and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, marine or related discipline)
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in mooring and hydrodynamics system design
At least 4 years of experience in design and engineering for New Build Hull and conversion of oil tankers
Proficient in analysis software such as Orcaflex, Hydrostar, and AQWA
Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling
