Role Summary

The Manager Process Safety is responsible for executing Process Safety strategies and frameworks across the Group. This role significantly impacts operational safety and risk management within offshore, marine, and engineering operations.

Job Description

In this role, the Manager Process Safety will oversee the implementation of Process Safety practices, ensuring compliance and effectiveness across various operations. The position involves leading incident investigations, conducting audits, and monitoring key performance indicators to enhance safety measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Process Safety strategies and frameworks across the Group.
  • Lead incident investigations to identify root causes and preventive measures.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with Process Safety standards.
  • Monitor and analyze Process Safety KPIs to strengthen risk management.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on Process Safety practices.
  • Enhance Process Safety systems and controls to improve operational safety.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent application of Process Safety methodologies.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.

8–12 years of experience in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Energy industry.

Minimum 5 years in Process Safety with knowledge in process and/or maritime engineering.

Strong understanding of Process Safety standards and methodologies.

Experience in conducting incident investigations and audits.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Proficient in developing training programs.
