This role is based in the UAE and involves supporting a major SAP transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. The Senior SAP Data Senior Consultant will manage SAP data management services including Master Data Governance, data migration, data archival and retrieval, and integration within the SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP landscape. The position requires hands-on expertise in SAP data to ensure data integrity, governance, and smooth data transition for business continuity.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP data management, with at least 4-5 years in SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
Proven experience consulting on data migration projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Extensive experience implementing and configuring SAP Master Data Governance across key domains such as customer, vendor, material, and financial master data.
Hands-on experience with OpenText Data Archival & Retrieval within SAP systems.
Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with SAP BTP services like SAP Data Intelligence and SAP Integration Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Master Data Governance, or related areas are highly desirable.
Deep understanding of SAP data models including master data, transactional data, and metadata in SAP S/4HANA.
Expertise in data migration strategies and tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
Knowledge of SAP BTP services for data management including SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP HANA Cloud.
Strong experience with data governance, quality, and security best practices.
Experience working with data migration strategies, frameworks, and methodologies.
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and other data management and monitoring tools.
Solid experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks and data quality assurance processes.
Experience in the aviation or travel industry is preferred.
Knowledge of SAP Advanced Data Migration tools is preferred.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes related to data management is preferred.
