Role Summary
The Senior System Analyst - CardLink / Vision Plus - Cards is responsible for the design, development, and analysis of Mainframe-based Cards platforms. This role involves close collaboration with business users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the day-to-day design and development activities on Mainframe ZOS, focusing on CardLink or Vision Plus platforms. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of system solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop solutions on Mainframe ZOS using Cobol, JCL, and CICS.
- Collaborate with business users to gather and clarify functional requirements.
- Conduct system impact analysis and feasibility studies.
- Provide technical guidance and review design documents.
- Oversee development deliverables and ensure quality standards are met.
- Support QA teams during testing phases and assist in defect resolution.
- Analyze production issues and implement resolutions or workarounds.
Job Requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience as a system analyst in the Cards domain.
Strong knowledge of CardLink or Vision Plus platforms.
Proficiency in Cobol, JCL, and CICS on Mainframe ZOS.
Experience with VSAM and sequential datasets.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate requirements into specifications.
