The Specialist, Accounting to Reporting (AtR) is responsible for ensuring that transactions for respective markets within the APJC region are properly accounted for and accurately reflected in the company's accounting records. This role involves working closely with local finance teams to ensure accounting records comply with US GAAP, local statutory, and tax requirements, while maintaining a robust control environment in line with audit standards. The position supports global financial processes and partners with finance and business counterparts to meet business objectives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 4 years experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company.
Experience dealing with US and non-US accounting standards, with knowledge of US GAAP preferred.
Business-level English speaking and writing skills required.
Experience with SAP desired.
Experience with balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience working with global cultures.
Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
Demonstrated commitment to education and professional development.
Advanced problem solving and analytical skills with a proactive management style.
Intermediate to Advanced PC skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to remain focused through change or uncertainty and maintain professionalism.
