Job Description
In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to enhance video delivery platforms. Your day-to-day work will involve guiding technical decisions and optimizing video streaming processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on video encoding and streaming protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize video delivery systems.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of video streaming issues.
- Ensure compliance with MPEG standards and video quality metrics.
- Integrate DRM solutions and manage CDN delivery workflows.
- Analyze and debug complex video pipeline challenges.
- Stay updated on innovations in video technologies and user experience.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in video compression, delivery, and streaming systems.
Hands-on knowledge of MPEG standards such as MPEG-2 TS, MPEG-4, HEVC, AV1, AAC, and Dolby.
Strong understanding of video streaming protocols and adaptive bitrate delivery.
Familiarity with Linux, C/C++, Python, or Java for video-related development or troubleshooting.
