Senior consultant
Less pressurizing environment Decent work
1. You become eligible for Promotions at 2 years 2. HR & Admin literally never respond 3. Appraisals are dismal 4. No onsite opportunities
Anonymous employee
Flat organization and meritocracy. Talented consultants all around. Well compensated comparable with big-4.
some times projects are not as much fun and extreme focus on billability to pay the bills
Consultant
Atmosphere is laid back for the most part. Culture is inclusive. Benefits are okay.
If you’re unfamiliar with consulting you will get eaten alive and spit back out. The whole premise of the job is to be as marketable as possible to clients and if you’re not then best of luck but you will most likely not last long.
-Great work life balance. Capco has drawn lines with clients for its employees in terms of work hours and overtime. OT and extra hours are not encouraged by the company unless really required. - Good initial pay compared to competitors like CTS, Accenture, TCS etc. -More visibility of your work and initiatives due to the small employee strength in India. -Easy going & professional work culture and mature workforce.
- Bonus and yearly hike are average. Your hike will still be better compared to your bonus. Bonus for a 4 rating can sometimes be 50 - 70k. This may be further impacted post Wipro take over of Capco. - Your experience here will depend largely on the client you are working for. Some established and mature accounts will give you generally good work stability and experience. Some other clients who are not known for great work culture will give you a bad experience. Account leads will also be a factor in terms of how your grievances are addressed. - Impact of Wipro takeover. Appraisal cycle has been changed from Jan to Dec to April to March. Bonus and hike payout will now be effective June.
Could be a good job if you are lucky enough to have a good client
A lot of these clients are investment banks, which imply a good amount of work, management tries their best to sell you to the clients and give you pressure, people are so fake, do not trust the good things they say about you or the clients, use your own judgement
It all depends on the Client/Program If youre lucky and the client is great - you'll have a great time with great work life balance. if not then it can be difficult,
ditto that which is in cons

Great opportunity to work with a wide range of clients
One might wait awhile for the perfect client opportunity
If you are involved in a project, your contributions are appreciated. Once you are no longer part of a project, you feel unnoticed and alone.
The presence of a good mentor (coach) can greatly impact your success. Choose one who supports you.
A great place to build and grow in your career if you're driven and give time to let yourself grow. Capco serves a truly global Tier-1 clientele and has good quality, diverse portfolio of complex financial services focused consulting work. There's been healthy growth in both headcount and client logos over the last 2-3 years which speaks volumes about the trust that clients place on Capco consultants and parallely, management's laser focus on tapping into new opportunities. All of the above make recipe for good amount of growth opportunities for consultants.
Certain support functions need to onboard stronger processes
Great work life balance and supportive leadership team with challenging work
Difficult promotion process and not diverse industries
Good solid clients and interacting with their senior folks
Delivery is of no use unless you do community work and get attention plus get business
Sc
- decent salary - professionals across the globe - some people have been a pleasure to work with and I have learned a lot
- Polish office has no idea how to develop their talents (at least those working remotely/business contract - no interest in feedback you provide to them - only interest is their short term benefit what will happen in future doesn't concern them at all. Also regarding client contracts - you should go fill a role we have, even though you are not interested and not a great fit - also we don't even have a good job description for it and we don't care about it) - Endless mess - There are set of rules (on boarding on client site, feedback, career development) that already function in other offices in the world but apparently in Poland you can't use what has been developed in other offices - all of the above is causing the good people to leave

Projects can absolutely vary from tech base to finance base to cloudAi
If you want to specialise in a particular area, it can be difficult to if there are no projects available in that area
It risk manager
Decent benefits Pay is ok
They only care about upper management Clients drop you quick Horrible promotions Virtually no bonus
Good work life balance. Caring leadership
Attrition is high Reactively promote Despite what the website says, promotions are once a year even though you’re reviewed twice a year.
Working at Capco has been a truly remarkable experience. The company's focus on digital transformation has made it possible for me to work on some of the most cutting-edge projects in the financial services sector. The work culture is incredibly supportive, providing a great work-life balance and ample opportunities for growth and development.
So far, I have only positive experiences.

Pretty meritocratic where you can get out what you put in.
Everything from WLB to your level of engagement depends on your projects.
Great people, great culture that allows you to be yourself
Experience of Capco will be roll dependant. Some roles are extremely demanding.
Great people and team oriented environment
Pay can be lower than expected
Dynamic working env. Colleagues are from different countries
Bureaucracy, Sectarianism. Shxtty culture. This company has no direction and they are not knowing their position in the market. Fail to deliver effective outcome to their clients.
The management is one of the best I've experienced
Honestly cannot think of a downside to working at Capco
They had plenty of projects. If you want to get involved in different projects, you can easily do that here, as they expect too much.
The compensation was terrible here. Top management didn't bother to increase compensation when the workload grew. Instead, these horrible people looked for excuses not to increase it. It was ridiculous. Also, this place has the worst job security, as people can be fired anytime. Please avoid long-term planning here, as your plans might be fruitless.
Analyst
Generally, the management is very good. They're understanding and provide good leadership to junior staff.
Pay was low, but I could have negotiated for more.
