Senior consultant
Good culture, lots of young passionate people Variety of projects, easy to get involved throughout the company Nice offices with amenities Partners and leadership are accessible and invest in mentorship/ L&D
Can get stuck on long-term staff aug projects that are not interesting if you are not diligent about networking and getting the projects you want Disorganized processes for HR, sales, etc Somewhat low pay for consulting
-Clear and friendly interviews -Excellent and clear communication and onboarding -Pay and benefits very good -Staff very friendly and doesn’t feel overly corporate/stuffy
-Requirement to work in office 1/2 days a week hybrid (flexible though)
Senior business consultant
Supportive company Healthy organization culture Gifts
Politics Yearly appraisal are not good , as there's a default rating thing rolled out, you cannot even deny or reject the rating given by manager
Principal consultant
Genuinely some of the best people that I’ve worked with.
A lot of work is resource augmentation (there are exceptions) and just not that interesting. Capco keeps its prices low by running a lean business model, but some of the recent market challenges have resulted in large numbers of people on the bench who are not billable. This is not sustainable and has resulted in some targeted redundancies. I’ve had bad experiences of the resourcing process with pressure to take the first role that comes along rather than the role right for you. This is exacerbated by the fact that some project managers who lack integrity will say anything to get you to commit to their role to ensure they get their sale over the line. Capco has grown significantly over the last few years but the corporate functions and processes don’t seem to have scaled with it. I am not aware of any comp adjustments having been made resulting from the inflationary cost of living crisis
Consultant 2
Salary is good and the package they offer is fixed. 2 days wfo. No micromanagement
No proper training on tools provided
Co-operative and Approachable Management Opportunities for consultants to work in a variety of consultancy profiles Lot of focus on trainings
No specific cons as of now
Anonymous employee
good company and good exposure to FS
not the most coolest job in the world
Marketing
Great company to work for, culture and flexibility is one of the best things about Capco
No transparency between leadership and employees.
Management consultant
Decent WLB and sometimes decent people managers
Pretty dead-end projects and poor senior managers. Layoffs are plentiful.
Consultant
