Great company to work for
There are no cons, you get out what you put in.
Recruitment
Lots of activity, business engage with recruitment to ensure we are aligned. Lots if input form hiring managers and everyone gets the importance of the candidate experience - which as a Recruiter is brilliant! Great culture, can get very busy but you can manage your hours to make this work. Townhalls are engaging and useful, UK Managing Partner is great, overall it's great.
Can get busy, mad busy. Too bureaucratic at times. Demand changes at drop of a hat which can be frustrating. Office and tech bit dated.
Consultant
- Senior Management team in Scotland very proactive and hands on - Opportunity to do varied work outside of pure project delivery - Genuinely trying to take on feedback to improve
- Sometimes feels like the loudest voice in the room is the one that receives more opportunity... the more face time you have with the right people the more recognition you get
nice work life balance overall
not enough challenging projects, can remain on bench for long, working with banking on technology side is like burying yourself under silos

Work Culture Flexibility Learning Opportunity
Nothing found so far in my tenure
Great place to gain experience and develop knowledge in an expertise. Firm is very friendly and open footed with an opportunity to make great working relationships. Workload is manageable but challenging.
The promotion cycle feels very rigid. Upward growth in the company comes from tenure more then performance.
I love how my employer doesn’t force the consultants to be in the office everyday. We have our RTO schedule but it’s not always fixed, you have the flexibility and most importantly you have the work-life balance. Though yearly bonus is not as huge as other consulting companies but somehow the other benefits are still considered good for a small-medium consulting firm, I hardly able to find other similar size companies with similar benefits.
Sometimes it’s scary once you are rolled off from the project and be on bench. You may be put into a project that is not your forte but at the end of the day, it’s on you whether you want to learn new things or you’d rather be on bench longer till you get the opportunity to join the project that is more of your preference.

Salary increment higher than market rate
Terrible management in Hong Kong and do not care about the employees. Promoting people without skills and laying off the people who are actually doing the job. Most micromanaged company I have ever been in.
