Senior consultant
You can be yourself at work
One major cash cow as customer
Consultant
Good work life balance and friendly people
Progression can be very slow
- The remuneration package is good - They are willing to pay high salary - Medical fully covered employee and dependants - 13th month salary - Flexible working arrangement (very flexible for those who got assigned to a project)
- Lack of opportunities within the company as in no projects - Though you are hired permanently by Capco, you can be terminated anytime if you bring no money to the company. How to bring money in? You have to be assigned to a project. - Job security 👎 - Career growth can be stagnant - Performance review not transparent
Anonymous employee
Large clients in the financial services. Good support available from coaches, managers and peers.
Variation of roles for more junior people is hard to find, often to try a new role you may need experience. Difficult to move to new projects.
Managing principal
Entrepreneurial, great for professional growth and friendly environment
Lack of career pathways on senior roles ED and P level
Managing principal consultant
Good for early career to learn PMO skills
Use and abuse their consultants; little concern for professional development. Capco has little IP and no knowledge library. CEO and partner team working toward payout from Wipro
Senior consultant ii
- If you are truly an individual contributor, this company is good enough for you because everything is fine till you handle the situation without getting a manager or another peer involved - They pay decent but not exactly as per consulting market standards
- Less employee engagement - Doesn’t feel like a workplace for a lifetime, It is a resourcing company backed by strong leadership. They will never feel dependent on you unless you are bringing in direct revenue.
Principal consultant
Capco as a consulting firm grounds itself on the foundational principle of "Be Yourself At Work" - this brings authenticity and candidness to work interactions and is the breeding ground for innovation and growth. Having worked in banks/industry for most of my career, Capco comes as a breath of fresh air where your diverse skills and experience are valued and celebrated, and this clearly translates to enhanced productivity and engagement. On client sites, we often get compared with our competitors and its clear why Capco often wins the "value" proposition for the quality of our deliverable and our teams work ethic.
Would love to see more a more equitable partner demographic to drive the diversity one sees at the lower echelons of the company.
Associate consultant
I wouldn't work at Capco. The structure is so disorganised.
Everything. Back office work for banks which isnt as sophisticated,
Great people to work with and learn a lot
Not many cons I can think of
