Consultant
Good pay. A lot of learning opportunities
Very competitive when it comes to finding a project. If you're not on a project after a certain amount of time on the bench they'll let you go.
Lots of exciting opportunities to learn and grow your career Varied project options and ability to chart your own course Great internal infrastructure and culture around groups, DEI, mental health, L&D, etc. My peers are fantastic, really enjoy working with them.
Leadership is inconsistent. Some are great and very effective at managing projects. Others struggle with communication and some are even disrespectful to those below them.
Senior consultant
Very talented colleagues and leaders in Scotland
Changes since Wipro acquisition of Capco
Senior principal consultant
Working with Capco for last 10 years, its one of the best decision Capco has very strong presence in Capital Market domain for change champions, now with continuous evolving tech space, Capco has build strong presence in data and technology space Great work culture with innovative thinking and open door policy One of the best work on consulting space and its growing at fast pace Good policies for working women and flexibility to manage work life balance Good opportunities for on-shore mobility
Can’t think of any- the culture is very different than other consulting / service companies
Great culture amongst the team but very low morale and faith in the wider business
The pitch and process as you interview is great, you soon realise the absolute lack of direction and strategy from "leaders" in the business starting at the very top, Hire and fire mindset and even more toxic HR function If there's any interest in joining a consulting/advisory firm, this is not it.
Senior consultant 2
Job security Initial pay during joining is good
Work life balance is subjective and dependent on team/project Single digit hikes, even for promotion
Capco Scotland - family like culture
Difficulty in progressing due to the backlog of people waiting for promo
Anonymous employee
Remote work was the only Pro of this company
- Zero support or training - Was onboarded and then sent to client meetings without any understanding of the roles, expectations, correct ways to approach engagements, etc. - Computer was sent with zero peripherals. - "Coach" was never available - TONS of wasted time and effort without up front direction and expectation setting
Associate
Great people within the company
There isn’t any cons to this job
Associate consultant
Great work Culture and amazing support
sometimes progression seems might be slow
