Senior vice president
You do find good people to work with, helpful and considerate.
Management is incompetent. They have no clear vision, people aren’t promoted based on merit. Toxic environment.
Universal banker
Good benefit and big brand
Too much parties and celebrations for management occassions (birthday, women day, anniversary, …) and that costs a lot. Risk of data privacy due to lack of sales awareness
Payments analyst
Happy place to work , good culture
Possibility of growth is low
Intermediate cash & trade process analyst
hybrid and paid time off
Terrible computers and the doors are always broken
Avp-finance
You can tell your friends you work for an investment bank.
You won’t have many friends, cuz you work for a bank. Salary is below peers, management is mid, 2023 reorg was done to maximize psychological trauma on workers.
Assistant manager
Variety of roles Supportive leadership
Nothing as of now noted.
Senior software development manager
Global exposure. Good facility in Mississauga
Too much politics. People getting selected for positions not based on qualification.

Good benefits Good end of year bonus (depends on your relationship with your manager because you can be easily over looked so their favourites get better for doing less)

Mortgage loan closer
You can get a lot of overtime when the pipeline is busy.
The mortgage industry can be very slow when interest rates are high.

So nice to work here!
None at all. Everything is good
Citi has good tech stack. Lot of learning opportunities. Their infra is good, especially new building. They pay well.
no work-life-balance, poor culture, politics within team,
Hypercompetent work environment, world class talent and ability
Working hours, chances to progress
Great effort spent on D&I
Long working hours, high turnover
Good benefits, can be steady, they will cater food onsite but lacking vegan options. Good pathways for opportunities. Fair compensation for work life balance, they made sure you were paid for any extra minute of work.
Communication is clunky between management and employees. We had a supervisor consistently raising expectations for performance. Many people were fired because of it, and our position was listed as hiring for less pay than when I was hired. It seemed like they were trying to squeeze out the people who got raises for new hires that were paid less.
Product manager
Excellent level of knowledge by all team members.
Extremely long hours, with HK and NY being 13 or 12 hour apart. You spent four nights a week on the phone, after a full day at work in the office

Learning advisor lead
Incredibly bright people to work with. I can only speak for myself, but my peers, as well as those above and below me in hierarchy, were all so passionate and determined. It's also nice to (most of the time) have a reasonable budget to utilize. Facilities are great.
A lot of "red tape" when you're this big. Also, being publically traded means things like re-orgs and layoffs are not uncommon
Senior product developer
work life balance is better than expected
unexpected org changes can haver a negatve impact
Team lead
Good cluster and exposure to different system in trade life cycle
As a bank , immediate switch to latest lib/framework is not there which is true from stability end
