Production deployments happen on weekends every month, so you will need to sacrifice a Saturday night or two every quarter to supporting the release.

Everything!!! The senior management is clueless and there’s no training

Huge company, so everything takes FOREVER to get done

Insane workload, micromanagement to the max, toxic management and favouritism to the max. Some of the tasks are impossible to do on their outdated systems, but somehow it’s always the employees fault. Also it’s impossible to finish the workload without doing hours of unpaid overtime everyday. Expect constant pointless meetings and calls and unfair and unrealistic expectations. Canteen is no longer subsidised and the prices as shocking. Even if you’re just going in for the money I don’t think it’s worth it.

Citi is bogged down with too many dotted lines in who reports to who, confusion as to which markets to pursue, and confusion as to its business segments and how its support personnel are aligned.
