Your experience at Citi is entirely dependent upon the team/manager you have. Some teams have great work/life balance with managers that are intelligent and thoughtful. Some teams are disorganized with poor management and you find yourself doing "dumb work" because the team is disorganized and short staffed

Long working hours are often the norm, especially during busy periods, and it can feel difficult to fully disconnect. Although there is a policy around working from home (e.g., two days per week), in practice this isn’t always respected across teams, which can be frustrating. More consistency between official policies and day-to-day expectations would really improve employee experience.
