Lack of direction for the business and not a lot of long term thinking

Bad management and low salary. The rewards and effort’s don't go parallel.

Long working hours,work rain or shine

Not much. Maybe because we're working at customer service department that there are some differences here and there. But overall okay.

Tiring and laid off without any reason

The department is ran by an incompetence self proclaimed HOD and an emotional assistant manager. One wrong words, move, you'll be targeted. Bro/Sis, once that happened, you'll either will kenna Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) or you'll quit because of the bad treatments. If ever you accepted the job, try to ask around how many have come and go.

No clear singular direction for everyone

Not sure about the impromptu short term decisions of the management, the management only acts when something is at high stake, else they just sit n let the junior ppl do the work Some teams have too much flexibility and some teams are too tight

Nothing as such, but more on-site management is needed at the India lab.

- Lost direction of how to measure performance. - Hiring is done based on underperformance, the worse a team performs, the more headcount and budget they receives out of pity not performance. - Managers no longer need to understand the process of their subordinate, instead randomly applies judgement they have learnt from elsewhere

must be a tough cookie. you will need to really thrive especially working in a service industry where you have to be able to adapt to changes.

As with most/all start-ups, work processes can be messy, and teams work in silos.
