Senior software engineer
- Flexible time - friendly-ish colleagues. - ok salary and benefits
- Not a real product company as they'd like to be seen - Terrible management, with lots of pressures from stakehodlers - Collegues are not as helpful. Just do their tasks and go home - No clear vision or strategy, leading to terrible company performace and frequent layoffs
Associate
Fast-paced culture, open to trying new things and not too much bureaucracy. Work life balance generally there.
Retention of good employees very poor due to lower than average compensation for a tech company. People that are left are not great at their work but not bad enough to get fired. Several HODs are promoted simply based on tenure, but are ill equipped to do the job at hand, leaving middle managers to pick up their slack.
