None, there's is no cons

- lack of clarity regarding growth in the company

Disorganization and confusion around the constant reorgs with poor communication. Managers are not required or encouraged to use any kind of employee management systems in some parts of the organization. People managers aren't incentivized to be good managers.

Siloed experience, and you could be dealing with an inexperienced manager, which makes creativity and career growth difficult.

Large size can mean slower pace sometimes, but people are willing to listen to new ideas.

Salaries are a bit lower than it's competitors and increments are also reasonable.

management are a mess silo based teams based on products depending on where in the organization your product is correlates to how much management actually care No decision is ever made by management inside 6months, everything drags out and out and out Lots of secretive strategies played out and people on the ground who these affect only find out last minute Despite talking about pushing tech boundaries, these initiatives rarely correspond to the reality of what products needs Obvious not-so-secret objective to get rid of people from expensive locations like NY or London and hire in cheaper locations in India. Mgmt claim otherwise, but when all new hiring is in India .... it speaks for itself Every quarter there are redundancies and the atmosphere and worry is never addressed Company values occupancy over productivity - every team is globally distributed and company policy of 2 days in the office (while very good compared to other companies) means you come into the office, speak with no one in the office, as everyone in your team is in a different office, and then you go home Have to fight to get a tiny amount of budget to take my team out for Xmas party, or even a small casual happy hour to acknowledge and praise team on successful projects Red tape is the most I've seen for any blue chip firm. No one knows what the processes are or should be there are so opaque In our area of technology, senior mgmt expect waterfall approach for multi-year projects and then finger point when unknowns arise and project is delivered 2months late on an original 18month estimate.

Lots of politics still going on after merger with IHS Markit. Whole leadership chain - from President down to regional leaders - are sacked.

When you do come into the office expect to socialize to your fullest extent, which is super draining

Outsourcing the department I worked in meant I will not be part of the company.

The leadership and company direction change frequently. It is a very large company and can get lost.

High stress and busy environment

for my team, the onboarding and training were a bit messy but teams were very helpful

Sometimes work get monotonous. Promotion is slow.

There can be some disparity based on the specific divisions in the organization - likely to occur as the organization has had its fair share of mergers and acquisitions and it takes time to standardize everything.

Communication has been poor and I feel like growth opportunities are slim currently. Management feels not accountable for some poor decisions made recently.

- Very large company - and spread over many countries - so there are some time differences/ not meeting colleagues in person, but also works as a positive in many other ways.

Very corporate and massive so jobs can be terminated easily
