Slow paced environment & career growth Highly matrix and slow decision making

The company has a pattern of investing in employee development but then laying staff off to improve financial metrics. While leadership questions high turnover, employees often feel a lack of job security. Those with higher salaries due to experience, as well as newer hires, may find themselves unsupported during challenging times. In addition, new initiatives, software, and strategies are consistently rolled out from upper management with a “bird’s eye” perspective, without gathering meaningful input from the teams directly impacted. This top-down approach limits the effectiveness of change and overlooks valuable expertise at the operational level. The organization has significant potential, but in practice, it functions as little more than a place to collect a paycheck, as meaningful change is rarely supported or sustained. Even programs branded under IMPACT feel misaligned — more like “Imposing Management’s Plans And Cutting Talent” than truly empowering employees.

if you are in IC (Global) role you get to loose lot team activity benefits and sometime you feel you work in silos

No RSUs for middle management and lower management. Hikes are generally lesser.

As big company sometimes is not fast in decision making

They hire temps with little to no experience in the field. Never knew if we were working 8/10/12 hrs until the 7 th hour of the shift.

-You have 3 people out of the sales team hitting quota and that’s only cause they are from the previous company that Schneider purchased, and have 10 years of experience. - Management style is disgraceful. Seen them talk bad about employees at events and on Teams meetings. Honestly no real cons for this role.

Sometimes overloaded with work; workload can be inconsistent. Salary is a bit higher than average compared to market. Limited growth opportunities in the Poland hub. Few open positions for career advancement locally. Can be challenging to balance priorities during busy periods.

Some teams or projects are really bad, with tons of overtime, or bosses in another country that have little insight into your performance. Generally, try to join a team where manager is in the same office as you. There's also lots of bureaucracy and politics, and internal tooling and employee platforms are awful.

Work-life balance is not the best one. Most of their locations are on the outskirts of the city.

New managers severely lack direction for employees. When asked if there is more one can do, their answer is to just meet your end of year goals. But you get dinged for not going above and beyond. This causes confusion and your growth stalls.

It’s a large organisation and career progression can be slow. Schneider sometimes feels like a government organisation and is slow in its processes. This is however an advantage for those who take ownership and push things forward.

Decision-making can be slow at times, and processes are quite bureaucratic. Limited flexibility in some roles and changes take time to be implemented.

The abundance of resources can be overwhelming at first, making it somewhat challenging to navigate.
