No cons, need to improve employee retentions

Given that the company is present in all continents and is more than a century old, it may have become somewhat bureaucratic in some requests, but my belief is that such thing is unavoidable.

The volume of work favors the diligent.

While the leadership is receptive of feedback and reviews, not a lot is done to overcome any immediate challenges. Growth can be slow, a lot can be masked if not for acknowledgment from your superiors.

Site location is kind of remote.

Quite a big organization so can be hard to navigate at times due to the large number of people.

The plant director seems to be a corporate dinosaur. No room for improvement or innovation. Everyone in the company is like praying for him to retire. Lack of coordination in most activities

Climbing up the ladder takes time. Pay is average.

Critical thinking is not acceptable. A person got veiled threats of termination after making open remark of Schneider's pretentious Trust Charter being breached; a few weeks later that employee trained a new hire, but little he knew that she would become his replacement as he was fired with no justification at all other than "It's a reorganization, Thank you for your work".

Managment. The started a project hired a group, had several people move from other towns and states just to cancel the project a few months later. They had a man move from another state then 2 weeks later gave him a lay off notice. Unorganized. HR will read your messages on teams and never respond. No clear answers on exactly how the PTO time and sick time work.

Industry is competitive and low differentiation

Not paid extra hours, a lots of responsibility and not increase salaries as expected.

Takes longer for the next career growth

No support from management. Excessive workload. Good Hikes are given only to female employees. There is no reward for loyalty.

No promotion for the 4 years I’ve been here. Salary increase is also the lowest I’ve experienced in any company
