Can get lost in the weeds or pigeon-holed into one particular area. For a big company they have a lot of inconsistencies.

There is so much red tape clogging the company above the plant level, and often no one is sure where someone's job ends and the next one begins. Lack of tribal knowledge and troubleshooting company systems at that level really hurts the plants.
