Turnover is high ,it is easy to meet new colleagues

good plan to work over there

This is purely an operational role (e.g., doing the thing), and as such, there may be a plateau in terms of learning after some time of doing this. However, this may be fitting for those who are passionate about this role and/ or sees this as a stepping stone in developing certain skillsets for the next thing.

Toxic colleagues and office politics, Staff not get given due recognition. Superior squeeze staff to work over and beyond normal hours even when on MC and leave.

Top management decisions rarely based on educational needs. Importance usually placed in income / profit.

salary is relatively low if you started your teaching job with this university. They only give a high salary for those who came from another institution.

Too many ad hoc works and meetings

There aren't much to be honest. It's a good place to study. Maybe the quality of teachers. Most teachers give off the impression of being in the institute mainly for their personal research and not actually for their passion towards teaching.

Unequal treatment. With the same qualification, expatriates always get higher positions and salaries compared to local people.

Culture may vary from department to department, so finding the right fit during the interview process is important.

The parking rate is high which may due to its location at the center. Of the city

nothing is not good at the moment

Most of the management are highly incompetent at their job and many of their decisions and inability to see problems led to their mass retrenchment and closure of their college. Very ad hoc performance evaluations and no clear goals given makes it hard to advance.

minor 'con'- nature of work can be repetitive (but the routine nature of it is a pro in my opinion).

The campus rains indoors when it rains heavily, however they are making improvements on this

Changing structure so the responsibilities and managers and structure keeps on changing

Questionable appointments, disregards sustainability, and chases ranking instead of quality.

Job nature requires weekend works as most parents are working on weekdays.

Busy with admin, coaching, teaching

Hard to get shaded parking

School deans have a lot of say in marketing of school. Top down approach to work, which makes your opinion feel stifled.

Too much extra work not eligible for salary claiming
