The role involves overseeing food presentation, portion control, garnishing, monitoring food preparation quantities, and informing Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out of stock items. The position also includes assisting cooks and kitchen staff, managing kitchen supplies, maintaining food safety logs, ensuring food quality, and supporting management in employee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance coaching. The role requires adherence to company safety policies, maintaining professional appearance, protecting company assets, addressing guest service needs, fostering positive working relationships, and supporting team goals.
Education at a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School degree level is preferred.
4 to 6 years of related work experience is preferred.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
Ability to follow company safety and security policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain professional and clean personal appearance.
Capability to perform physical activities including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and lifting or moving objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Strong communication skills with clear and professional language.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team objectives.
