The Commis III - ADD is responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. This role involves washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, and preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards. The position also includes operating kitchen equipment, monitoring food quality, setting up and breaking down the workstation, serving food in proper portions, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment. The employee must follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and support teamwork within the workplace.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 1 year of related work experience.
No supervisory experience.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or entire work shift.
Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Ability to follow company and safety policies and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Skill to communicate clearly and professionally with others.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
