The Commis III (All Day Dining) is responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking food according to set recipes and quality standards. This role includes tasks such as portioning, chopping, measuring ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, monitoring food quality, setting up and breaking down the work station, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. The position requires adherence to safety policies, professional communication, teamwork, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 1 year of related work experience.
Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures.
Capability to prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
Skill in operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Professional personal appearance and conduct.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen environment.
