Role Summary

The Executive, Planning & Risk is responsible for ensuring effective strategic planning, risk management, and compliance within the organization. This role plays a crucial part in coordinating planning activities and mitigating risks while ensuring adherence to internal policies.

Job Description

In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve collaborating with various departments to develop strategic goals and monitor risk indicators. You will conduct risk assessments and prepare reports for senior management, contributing to a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate various planning activities to align with strategic goals.
  • Assess and mitigate risks across the organization.
  • Monitor risk indicators and report findings to senior management.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare detailed reports for senior management on risk management activities.
  • Assist in compliance audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Provide guidance to teams on regulatory obligations and internal policies.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.

Professional certifications in risk management or finance (e.g., ACCA) or compliance (e.g., CRMA, CISA, CISSP) are advantageous.

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in finance/accounting, particularly in Oil & Gas, Shipping, Business Analysis, or Heavy Engineering.

Experience in strategic planning, risk management, or compliance.

Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and methodologies.

Experience in conducting internal audits or compliance reviews.
