Role Summary

The Internship F&B (QA/QC) Management Internship is responsible for managing costing and budget control to optimize expenses without compromising service quality. This role involves ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials while collaborating with head chefs and kitchen operation managers on SOP and product development.

Job Description

In this internship, you will engage in daily activities that focus on quality assurance and control within the food and beverage sector. You will work closely with kitchen staff to maintain high standards of safety and hygiene while developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage costing and budget control to optimize expenses.
  • Ensure the quality and safety of raw materials.
  • Collaborate with head chefs and kitchen operation managers on SOP and product development.
  • Research, develop, and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor workplace safety and hygiene practices.
  • Assist in quality assurance and quality control activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Culinary/Food Science/Nutrition.

No work experience required.

Excellent command of English in written and spoken.

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Exhibit a flexible, proactive, and positive character.
