
The Kitchen Commis 1 Pastry is responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the kitchen's efficiency and upholding the high standards of the Renaissance Johor Bahru.
In this position, you will engage in daily food preparation tasks, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking and that the kitchen remains clean and organized. You will work closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 1 year of related work experience.
Ability to follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
Effective communication skills using clear and professional language.
Capability to maintain cleanliness and professional personal appearance.
Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during work shifts.
