Job Description

In this role, the Pastry Chef will oversee daily operations, including food preparation and compliance with sanitation and food standards. The work environment is dynamic, requiring effective leadership and collaboration with team members to enhance guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the pastry culinary team to ensure quality and consistency in pastry production.
  • Supervise employees and improve guest and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily operations, including food preparation and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Maintain operating budgets and ensure financial performance.
  • Develop and train staff to enhance skills and improve results.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Implement quality control measures for food preparation and presentation.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related area, or a 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related major with 2 years of experience.

Ability to lead, influence, and communicate effectively with team members.

Experience in supervising and managing employees and daily operations.

Knowledge of food preparation, handling, storage, and sanitation standards.

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and improving guest satisfaction.
