Job Description
The Senior Specialist in the Security Operations Centre is responsible for supporting cyber incident response actions, ensuring proper assessment, containment, and documentation of security incidents. This role involves handling escalated investigations, overseeing Tier-2 SOC Analysts, and improving incident response playbooks. The specialist will also conduct technical analysis on impacted systems and participate in cyber drill simulations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in IT/Cybersecurity/Computer Science
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT security, preferably in a banking environment
Strong working knowledge of common security tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with automation concepts and scripting languages
Ability to work effectively as a team
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Security certifications preferred
