The Admin/Operations Officer at Malaysia Airports is responsible for managing maintenance service availability and coordinating tasks to ensure efficiency. The Admin/Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring maintenance service availability and response times according to the Service Level Agreement. This role involves preparing daily reports, supervising subordinates, attending to complaints, ensuring proper preventive maintenance, and coordinating work programs and spare parts management.
Prepare daily report, work request, work order and other related checklist and carry out data analysis.
Supervise all subordinates to ensure optimum usage.
Receive complaints from help desk or originator, attend to them, delegate to respective technicians, and ensure completion according to priority and guaranteed response time.
Ensure planned preventive maintenance is carried out properly and within the specified time frame.
Ensure all necessary safety precautions are implemented by all subordinates.
Attend and restore breakdowns as they occur at any time.
Plan work programs on daily activities and liaise with other shifts for work coordination and continuity.
Inquire about spare parts to be purchased after receiving purchase order or work order approval from client, ensure availability, and advise on proper tool and equipment usage by technicians.
Monitor and report work performance of all subordinates.
Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior or management representative.
Knowledgeable in maintenance and operation of airport facilities.
Knowledgeable in contract management including construction, legal, and value engineering.
Able to supervise multiple vendors and contractors.
Respond to complaints within 15 minutes.
Knowledgeable in facilities maintenance in operation and maintenance.
Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical building services.
Self-starter with minimal supervision.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literate is an added advantage.
Diploma in any related field.
Diploma holder with minimum CGPA 2.8.
