As a Demi Chef at KAYSTEAKLOBSTER SDN BHD, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Your role includes managing mise en place and ensuring station readiness before service. You will maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and cooking quality while keeping your assigned section clean and organized. Monitoring stock usage to minimize waste and communicating any shortages or operational issues to superiors is essential. You will also assist with stock rotation, training junior staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene procedures.
At least 1–2 years of kitchen experience in a restaurant environment.
Basic to intermediate cooking skills.
Familiarity with hot line, grill, pantry, fry, or prep section operations.
Able to follow recipes and work consistently during busy service.
