Job Description

The Director of Human Resources at Petaling Jaya Marriott Hotel plays a crucial role in the executive committee, working closely with the General Manager and Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. The position involves managing various HR functions to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR initiatives that support business objectives.
  • Manage talent acquisition and succession planning processes.
  • Oversee performance management and employee development programs.
  • Implement HR technology solutions to streamline operations.
  • Lead change management initiatives in collaboration with property executives.
  • Provide coaching and support to staff on HR-related matters.
  • Analyze employee compensation strategies and implement recognition programs.

Job Requirements

A 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related major with 4 years of experience in human resources, OR a 4-year bachelor's degree with 2 years of related professional experience.

Strong understanding of employee engagement and talent management strategies.

Experience in staffing and recruitment processes.

Knowledge of compensation strategies and total compensation planning.

Proven ability to manage staff development activities.

Excellent leadership and change management skills.
