Job Description
The Trust & Safety Associate engages in daily reviews of user-generated content, including profiles, audio, video, and text, to ensure compliance with client guidelines. The work environment requires emotional resilience and the ability to handle potentially objectionable content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and classify online content based on client guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues related to user content.
- Participate in process improvements to enhance content moderation.
- Stay updated on changing policies and guidelines.
- Engage in discussions regarding socially sensitive topics.
- Maintain objectivity while handling sensitive content.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective content moderation.
Job Requirements
Excellent comprehension and communication skills in Swahili and English.
Strong emotional resilience and stress-management skills.
Deep familiarity with internet culture and political/social awareness of the relevant region.
Ability to work differing rotations, shifts, and non-standard hours.
Previous experience in BPO, customer service, or content moderation is preferred.
