The HR Services Operations (Payroll) Specialist (Korean Speaking) manages and leads payroll operations within a regional or global HR shared services model. This role requires expertise in payroll, tax, and labor compliance, along with fluency in Korean and English to effectively collaborate across local and global teams.
Fluency in Korean and English.
Expertise in payroll operations and compliance with labor, tax, and social insurance laws.
Ability to manage and oversee monthly payroll, bonuses, year-end adjustments, and statutory contributions.
Experience coordinating with external payroll vendors and ensuring service level agreements are met.
Skills in payroll auditing, reconciliation, and approvals.
Capability to manage escalations and complex employee payroll inquiries.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, HR Business Partners, and IT.
Ability to support internal and external payroll audits by providing required documentation.
Competence in maintaining and improving payroll policies, procedures, and controls according to global standards and local requirements.
Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members in payroll or HR operations.
Ability to contribute to payroll system enhancements, automation projects, and HRIS/payroll system implementation or upgrades.
